2008 International Society of Bassists/David Walter Composition Competition

The 2008 International Society of Bassists/David Walter Composition Competition is dedicated to the memory of double bassist David Walter, a longtime ISB member, performing artist, composer and renowned educator. Entries must be received at the ISB office <b>by June 2, 2008</b>. There are three categories, for <b>solo bass, chamber ensemble and double bass with electronic media</b>, with a grand prize of $1,000 in each category and a world premiere performance at the 2009 ISB convention at Penn State University.
