Annual New Music & Art Festival, to be held October 27-29, 2005, featuring guest composer Samuel Adler. The postmark deadline for consideration on this festival is February 4, 2005; late works will be considered for Festival 27. Composers whose works are selected are expected to attend, and a small travel honorarium will be offered. Submitted works will also be considered for year-round performance under the sponsorship of the MidAmerican Center for Contemporary Music. Selected works will be performed throughout the season by distinguished faculty, guest performers and student ensembles.
