No Deadline
The Manhattan New Music Project, a jazz and contemporary music organization,
is now building a roster of Teaching Composers to serve for brief
residencies in the New York City Public Schools (grades K-12). Individuals selected will be independent contractors who will work from one to five days a week for about 4 hours a day on site and also attend staff development sessions.
The compensation for this position begins at $150 per diem to teach 4
classes per session. Individuals with significant experience in teaching and who
are ready to model classroom learning within the above framework may be
