Postmark Deadline: July 15, 2003 Vox Novus invites composers who are citizens or permanent residents of the Americas (North, South, or Central) to submit signature electronic works 60 seconds in duration for its concert. Sixty selected pieces will be performed continuously in a one-hour concert, in conjunction with multimedia elements and an analog clock marking the passage of time. Pieces may be less than 60 seconds in duration. Since each piece will begin precisely at the beginning of the minute, composers may wish to include a few seconds of silence at the beginning or end of their piece; the total duration (including the silence) may not exceed 60 seconds. Works submitted must not have been previously performed or broadcast.
