Receipt Deadline: May 31, 2003 The 2nd Luigi Nono Composition Prize for accordion (diatonic or chromatic) and electronically elaborated sounds on magnetic tape or DAT is open to composers of all ages and nationalities. Works should include a literary text (prose or verse) of any author, in the original language or translated into Italian, and should be between 8 and 15 minutes in duration. Interested composers should submit four copies of a previously unpublished and unperformed score, the electronic support (magnetic tape or DAT, one copy), and an application. There is a prize of EUR 500 (approx. US $537) and the live performance of the work during the 4th edition of the Festival of Contemporary Music Luigi Nono.
